Centerville, Ga. – Betty Jo Casper, 83, passed into the hands of her Lord on Thursday, April 30, 2015.
Betty was born on July 16, 1931, in Las Vegas, New Mexico, and was of the Catholic faith. A loving homemaker, she loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Betty was an avid needle crafter for which she won many awards at the Georgia National Fair and was instrumental in opening Michael’s in Warner Robins where she worked for nine years.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Casper; daughter, Judy Ann; and parents, Timothy Gray, Sr. and Grace French Gray.
Betty’s memory will forever be treasured by her loving children, Bonnie Henderson (Gregg) of Warner Robins; Carol McClendon (Mike) of Joshua, Texas, Sandra Kay (Butch) of Weatherford, Texas and Butch Casper of Coppell, Texas; three grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; siblings, Louise Farmer and Jean Nettles, both of Fort Worth, Texas, Jackie Bills of Azle, Texas and Tim Gray, Jr. of Fort Worth, Texas; and many adoring nieces and nephews.
A private service will be held at a later date in Roswell, New Mexico.
In lieu of flowers, the family respectfully suggests memorial donations be given in memory of Betty Casper to Heart of Georgia Hospice, 103 Westridge Drive, Warner Robins, GA 31088.
