Shannon “Bubba” Tunnell passed in a work related plane crash. Bubba went to hunt on the Great Mountain in Heaven. There will be celebration of life Friday, June 12, 2015 at 1:00 PM at Muffley’s Funeral Home, Clovis, NM with Paul Chinikidiadi officiating. Sunday, June 14, 2015 at 1:00 PM family and friends will meet at Pinon Hills RV Park, Capitan, NM to travel to the Mountains for a Memorial.
Bubba was born July 31, 1981 in Portales, NM. He is survived by his mother Sharon Null & Philip of Melrose. One brother Sonny (Heather) Tunnell of Clovis. One sister Savannah (Jeremy) Flack of Capitan. Two brothers by marriage, Todd Martin and James Null. Two nephews, Jacob Flack and Lance Lowder, One niece Harley Tunnell. Grandparents Alvin & Thelma Swann of Broadview. Four hounds Sugar Baby, Slutty, Jessie and Zee. Many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.
Bubba loved spending time with his family. He loved the outdoors and working with his hounds. Bubba was great at many things and left this earth doing what he loved. Bubba was employeed by the USDA since August 2009. He was a proud member of the NRA. There has been a memorial fund set up for Shannon “Bubba” Tunnell at Pioneer Bank for those that would wish to donate.
