James “Jim” Ernest Wall, 77, formerly of Las Cruces, New Mexico, passed away on May 30, 2015 at Presbyterian Kaseman Hospice in Albuquerque, NM. He died due to infection and kidney failure.
James was born on September 19, 1937 in Britton, Oklahoma. He is preceded in death by his father, Joseph G. Wall and his mother, Iva L. Wall, his brothers Curtis Wall, Henry Wall and Hugh Wall. He is survived by his nieces, Anne Batterson and Jan Hollis as well as his nephews, Brent Wall, Dan Wall and Randall Wall.
Not long after his birth in Oklahoma, James’ family moved to Roswell, NM where he grew up. He attended Texas Tech University in Lubbock, TX and attained a bachelor’s degree in Architecture in 1960. James worked as an architect in Las Cruces, NM for many years. He loved camping, hunting, dogs, photography, traveling and of course architecture. He was a Scoutmaster in the Boy Scouts of America. He was a longtime congregant of St. Andrew’s Episcopal Church in Las Cruces. He always enjoyed employing his clever sense of humor. He will be dearly missed by all of his many friends and family.
Plans are to place his ashes to rest in South Park Cemetery in Roswell, NM with his parents. Memorial services are pending.
