A rosary will be held at 7 p.m. at Anderson-Bethany Funeral Home, Wednesday, June 10, 2015, for Beatrice Najar Vargas. A graveside funeral will follow on Thursday, June 11, 2015 at 11 a.m. at South Park Cemetery.
Beatrice went to be with our Lord and Savior on June 1, 2015. Beatrice was born September 14, 1956, to Juan and Dolores Najar who precede her in death. Those left to cherish her memories are her husband, Vincente Vargas, daughters, Lisa Lujan, Juanita and Fernando Torres, Sonya and Mario Olivas, Charlotte Barrera and son, Jerry Barrera, one sister, Manuelita “Nellie” Najar, two brothers, Lencho and Phillip Najar, 23 grandchildren, Frankie, Johnny, Angelina Meads, Jarreth Ortiz, Paul Pete Hale, Alexander Mestas, Elijah Quintero, Fernando II, Miguel, Merien, Mia, Carisma, Mirey Torres, Sirena Morales, Breanna, Mario, Zekiel Olivas, Angel Lujan, Javier Jr., Anastasia, Maribel, Anabel Torres and Jay Jay Barrera; one great-grandbaby, Julian Torres and one on the way and numerous nephews and nieces.
Beatrice was a loving, beautiful mom, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She loved spending time with her family. She loved to sing and her passion was dancing.
She is preceded in death by six brothers, Louis, Tony, Nieves, Able, Jerry and Johnny Najar, five sisters, Gloria, Frances, Mary, Benny and Rosemary Najar and one grandbaby, Evangelin Lujan.
Pallbearers will be Vicente Vargas, Fernando Torres Jr., Fernando Torres Jr. II, Miguel Torres, Javier Torres Jr. and Mario Olivas. Honorary pallbearers are Frankie, Joe, and Johnny Meads.
Beatrice will be missed by all who knew and loved her.
